Fuzz that would be two coon for swamp if i remember correctly

You guys are very funny....how large are the coons Y'all (the Canukes) catch?!? :? Most of you know I deal with coons that don't have the weight problems as do the over eaters in a lot of areas. My mind is about to twist off trying to wrap around these 40 pounders.... A large coyote here only gets into that range. :--o

The pelt of the one you fleshed of ours last spring was around 21 lbs...... If that gives you any idea.

And that was the smallest one. Swamp had to take the smallest he could find   :P

Well we managed one more coon, a nice boar. The bait snatchers got the bait out of a couple of others. I think its weasels. Seems the coons are in the woods and not on the river anymore.

12 and 8 is what I got for the two bigger ones. What would you expect to get at auction if I put it up myself? The guy I sell to says the coon and beaver market will not be good this year.

For the weasels stealing your bait, put the triggers on the bottom. the trap will still fire, and most of the time catch a weasel is its trying for your bait. I caught more weasels than coons in my buckets last year

Well first check of the fisher and cat sets revealed two of the wrong members of the weasel family. Here is one of them. Nice to know my 220s are working but I would rather have a fisher.

Ya I was thinking about the way I put the pans on these 220s it may have been better to leave them alone but I wanted to get a cat or two in them. I figured it would better my chances with pans.

Got out today and set a couple dozen snares and a few mink sets. I found several different sets of fresh cat tracks so I am amped up for a cat catch hopefully soon.
