This is the last day of the land season here in NY. Pulled all my traps. The rat and mink season goes for a bit longer though and I have just started to try for them. It was a long season and my first. I learned a lot and cant wait for next year already. I made a lot of mistakes and tried to learn from them. I wish I did better with the yotes though. I went in hoping to catch one but never did. Thanks to all that shared their wisdom. I will post a season end picture soon with my fur. Thanks

Very good showing for a first season. I always contend that trapping is like swimming, once you get the basics, you won't forget them.

Great first year WCS! Are you selling your fur to a local buyer or going straight to the auction, or did you already sell?

Going to sell to NAFA. Next pick up in my area is the end of March. Seems like the best way to go from what I have been able to tell.
