I just got in the house from setting my traps for the weekend. I used some different types of sets and a new bait and two new lures, hopefully I will have something in the morning.

Well today was a disapointment, I did not catch anything, and only saw a couple of tracks around the sets. There was one small track that was either a fox or very small yote (I can't tell the differance) that got very close to getting caught. Hopefully tomorrow will be better.

Thanks Jase for the words of encouragement, I needed to hear that. I do expect to have SOMETHING in the traps every morning when I check them. What is more frustrating than not having anything in the trap is having tracks right up next to the trigger and it not stepping on it. No matter what I will keep trying because I enjoy the thrill of the hunt.

Good Lordy, didn't realize you Canucks were so sensitive.  You need to kick back and relax and smell the honeysuckle like us hillbillys.

Thanks for the history lesson trap, didn't know that's how "yankeys" got their name. Must have dozed off that day in class or else I was makin' eyes at Suzie the flag-twirler. 8) 8)
Anyway, I do remember the Brits got caught in a circle jerk of their own , didn't they ?
