Hi all! I'm new to this site and I'm looking for some help. I got back into trapping this fall after about a 20 year break. Now I'm hooked bad. This past year I did pretty good and learned from a friend how to flesh and put up hides. I used his fleshing beam, knives, etc... Well, I want to be self sufficient this year so I got some stretchers, fleshing knife and made two fleshing beams. I made one out of a 2x8 ash board and the other out of a 2x6 oak board. Now my question is which way do you guys prefer mounting your beam? If you have pictures that you can post I would greatly appreciate it. I'm in the process of building a fur shed and I want to get started right. Thanks for any help!!
