I'm beginning to get geared up. I'm in Lincoln county--east-central part of the state.

Well...I'm about one hour straight east of columbia. Straight down highway 70. At Wentzville, you'd turn onto highway 61 north. I'm about another 15 miles up the road. The outlook for my getting back into trapping actually looks pretty good. There's a small river near Troy called Cuivre. I'm debating whether I'll run a line on it or the Missouri this next season as my moving plans may be on hold for another year. Seems like "plan B" is the first one I ever get to go through with--lol--the first one seems to fail every time  Hit me back! I enjoy chattin with ya.

I live in East Central Missouri. Rosebud area. Gasconade County. I've only trapped 2 years and am hooked for life. My first year I caught 10 coyotes and 2 bobcats plus coon and a huge amount of possums. My family quickly named me Possum Queen. Last season I only caught 4 coyotes and 1 bobcat. A few coon. Still tons of possums. I'm inerested in learning new sets for coyote and bobcat. I've only used dirt hole sets to date. Would love to catch fox. Not many on our place but have been invited to trap on a nephews place that is supposedly loaded with gray fox. Any help would be much appreciated.

:D Hi; I'm Richard; and live back in Pettis County at the south edge of Sedalia, MO after the past 11 years in SE South Dakota, and 13 years in Lincoln, NE before that. Great to be home. I like to trap coyotes, coons, and feral cats. I am planning on building some cage traps this year since I am getting too old to get up and down so much for steel traps. Good Luck to everyone in MO.
