Somebody please let me know if I'm wrong, but as far as I know this years' NTA National convention is at the Elkhart Co. fairgrounds in Goshen, IN ( about 80 miles east of my location), Aug. 2-5. Anyway, my question is for some my fellow trappers who went to last years' convention. I am looking to buy some new traps for the upcoming season and want to know if I can expect some real good deals, or would I be better off to just order some new ones. I am thinking about getting a 1/2 dozen #2 Bridger c.s. and a dozen Sleepy Creek 1 1/2 l.s. Please advise !

In my opinion I would buy them at the convention, most of the time you will get a better deal and you wont have to pay for shipping. And yes it is back here again this year at Goshen, and our state convention is in Rensaler.

Thanks for the info Greg. I will definetly plan on attending both. I joined the ISTA early last month and the VP, Ron Elliot, is one the local fur buyers in NW IN. FYI, the Northwest Indiana Steelheaders " Spring Fever" annual event is this weekend at the Porter Co. fairgrounds and has always been a good time for my Kids and I.

Thanks again !
