Another pass time of mine. Here are a few of the ones my kid and I have harvested.

This was a solo hunt starting at the ocean. 34 miles round trip on foot in two days. Talk about sore.

This one missed B&C by 1/8. It was 7.5 years old and almost 10 inches. broomed off real bad.

this is my biggest one over 52 B&C. 10.5 years old and over 400 pounds. My buddy in the photo is just a little guy. only 6'6" and about 270 pounds.

this was my first one

my oldest kids first

Great pics! I love that terrain up there. How does mountain goat taste? I've never tried it.

The taste is very good. Better than most deer, but it can also be very tough. Hamburger is always an option or the crock pot.

The terain is steep. The ridge tops are nice in many places, but getting there will test your skills.

Here is a Nany and a young billy. I will be looking for him in 3-4 years. He should be a dandy. Looks to be over 8.5 inches at 2.5 years.

Ah, figures some young man would be asking her age. 16 years old now. She has been goat hunting since she was 13. Killed her first two bucks at 10 on top a mountain. Long day for a 10 year old, but she is strong as can be for such a small thing. Cant find anyone that can keep up with her while goat hunting. Not even me. Ah, to be young again.

P.S. I bought a new shotgun just in case there are too many young bucks that come calling. LOL.

LOL, It looks like the cat population would go down for sure. Although we have no cats in my area. I could tell him there are lynx all over and he would trap all season without catching one.
