Well I got one of my friends into trapping!! I lent him 2 Bridgers to try out. From the sound of it he has some good places. I showed him how to make a basic set and bed the trap. I showed him what to do and what to do when setting. He was really interested and said he will want me over this weekend to see how he is doin on it.

Did you lend him any stakes? Has he gone through a trappers ed course? Does he have a trapping license? Teaching him legal is the right way to start out.

Still under 16 so no need. He has stakes that he showed me and they will work, about 22" long.
