Im melting all the creeks are over there banks . its 57 degrees. lovely day. Read in the paper that some one was trying to cross antartica and it was -103. must be celcius . they were crossing for global warming awareness. Seems that they didn't make it had to quite they were cold. must be the warm weather and global warming because it was too cold to make the journey. there is awareness for ya. They got frost bite ect......

It was 74 here in NW Indiana today. I drove over to Michigan City to see if the harbor was opened up yet and looks like ice is all but gone. Guess I'll have to go in the morning and see if I can catch some Whitefish and Coho's off the pier ! :D Will report if the fishin' is any good !

Woke up to 30 degrees and an inch of the white stuff this morning ! :( It's been real nice the last few days with temps inthe 60's and 70's. No fishin' today but got to go over to Lake Michigan yesterday and give it a go. Water temp still only 38 degrees but a few fish up in the harbor. I caught 2 perch, a small steelhead(released), a small chinook salmon (released), and a 18" whitefish that was invited home for dinner ! :D Headed out right now to run traps and pull em' because season ends at noon.
