Lets see some of ya'lls biggest deer rubs of the year. Here is mine, not the biggest I have ever had but not a bad one either. Uncle says there is a bigger one and I will look for it tommorow.

moved out of the area but the tree was big couple of feet around . I did see a very large set of antlers on a deer in my area this is not the one that rubed the tree i spoke of but im sure it was as big or bigger.

Here's one I found on the edge of a briarpatch/clearcut in GA I was hunting the week after Christmas. Tree was @4" in Dia. not too shabby for GA

here's a rub that's decieving. Shot a mid130's 8pt off this rub line the year before I took this pic. A 11/2yr old forky took over the line once he was gone, watched him rub this tree several times. Trees @5" in dia...

rule of thumb the bigger the tree the bigger the antlers. those seem like 8 pointer may be a 10 but my guess is an 8 could be smaller could be bigger guess you said an 8. read it now.

Well I always followed that too, but the last few years I've kinda been jaded the other direction. Height of the rub above the ground and the length from the top to bottom of the area rubbed seems to tell more about the size than anything IMHO.

Here's a pic of the original tree wreckers skull... 22in inside spread.
