Anybody have and shoot a .35 Remington magnum...? I became a little bit familiar with it this summer. It sounds like a pretty stout, capable round that never really caught on, perhaps because the first rifle it came out in was a carbine. Anyway, just curious if there was any users of it on WAT.

My B-I-L owns one. He uses it every once in a while in the deer woods when he's hunting heavy cover. Other than that I really don't know a lot about it.

I guess I misnamed the the cartridge. It should be .350 Remington Mag. It is a belted case. First time I've seen this case in SD. I think the .35 Remington non-magnum is a lot more common across North America.

You are right PC, it's the 35 Remington which is comparable to the Winchester 30-30 or the Winchester 32 Special. I don't know anything about the .350 magnum.

Non .the only time I had seen the 350 mag.was at a gun show.the man who owned was trying to get rid of it for the reason you stated....it was a carbine..a very poor carbine he explained to me..he liked the round just not the gun.....
