I figured TT would have a comment on this one, but such is not the case. This was used in conjunction with fire.

Use it for moving coals to just the right spot I suppose.
Wife would probably find another use for it so I ain't got one. :wink:

TT has got this one. It is used to place lump coal onto a fire.Called a coal mitt. Don't believe I'd want to leave it in the fire very long.
