It's for towels or wash rags. If not a hanger then I'm not sure what the proper term is.

Six days, so I suppose I'll let you all off the hook. No high society folks here I guess. These are knife rests, used to keep the dirty knife blade from making a mess of the tablecloth. I just use the edge of the plate myself.

Really..a knife rest so the table cloth doesn't get dirty. :roll: I would be more willing to call it a knife rest for the fur shed, now you could relate to people on this site... :P

What's with this knife stuff? Fingers I understand, maybe it's actually a finger holder.
