Just when things were drying up mother nature did her white stuff trick again. For the last 5 days wind and snow. By morning it comes to an end and back into some plus weather.

Mother Nature can send some curve balls, that is for sure. Here around Portland area, we have gotten almost 49 inches of rain since October 1st. Normally only get around 36 inches for an entire year. Most of the dry days, this past winter, were because we had snow on the ground and it was too cold to rain.

....speaking of weather and the river..our forecast is 5 plus inches of rain by sunday.on top of 2 inches I had Thursday...I think my river will rise....we have what they call a blackberry winter..most years when the blackberries bloom we get a 2 to 4 day cold snap..if we don't get the cold snap the blackberries bear hardly any fruit.....

We got snow every day this week. It melts by the end of the day sometimes. Rain gauge showed an inch of water so I'm happy but the guys who are trying to finish combining are not.

I feel your pain Wolf, but it did reach 87F here yesterday and I wouldn't mind a little cooler weather. It is already 78F here at 9:17AM.
