Shannon and I have started to paperwork process to purchase 76 acres of land, so it looks like we will be able to deer hunt and set some steel this winter. We plan on building a barndominium and living on it next spring. The neighbor to the west and north own about 300 acres, so maybe I can get Shannon to go over and sweet talk him into letting us trap some yotes on him also.

Good for you both. Peace of mind for you both now knowing that no one will ever kick you out of your spot. Is the property in rattle snake country

We have a few timber rattlers here but not very many. We did see a water moccasin, which honestly worry me more than a rattler, they don't warn ya, just bite.

Owning land is always good and if you use it for recreation so much the better.

Glad to hear Y'all have found a place to call your own and to trap at. Keep us posted as the weather cools and you decide to plant some steel.
