Ok all plans subject to change at any given second. :--?

I see that in my excitement of escaping the mundane, I may have bit off more than I can chew as far as distances.
Its my first road trip. North Idaho is a long ways away.

Ive given myself a wonderful little side adventure though, I plan to attend the rendezvous at Fort Bridger, which is about half way to Umatilla Or.
Ive never been to the voo there, but have heard about it for years. Im not much for tourist attractions, especially when Im part of the attraction.

In the past I did participate in the Fort Vancouver reinactment several different years back in the 80s.
One time we'd cooked a pig on a spit and we reinactors had eaten, all was left was the head.
I was cleaning up and this touristy lady commented on how gross the pigs head looked. She was so clean and prissy and obviously repulsed at out choice of meat, that I couldn't help myself but to pick up the pigs head, and suck one of the eyeballs out and eat it. What the heck, it was cooked!!!, and totally worth it. LOL So I don't always do well in public situations. although I think there might have been some Oregon brewed Sour Mash involved in that incident.

Then I will decide from there if I want to continue on and or how far. And I might get lucky and find some riders to ride north with.

I had as usb port wired into my saddle bag on the LEFT side. And new tires. I ended up reordering my back tire because I'd chosen one designed more for road travel. I do a lot of dirt and gravel road riding so need something with some good tread.
Yesterday we rode about thirty miles on the dirt irrigation canal road. The one that sends Co. water, east.
