Now that hunting season is under way, I haven't seen that much wildlife activity in the area of the camera. Elk season begins in 3 weeks, It'll be interesting how many hunters pose in front of the camera... :lol:

You are right Rick. Is the camera area open to hunting ? I have seen deer but no elk for about 3 days now.

Yes Doc, the camera is located on a managed food plot on State Game Lands number 14 southeast of Winslow Hill where the elk visitors center is located. There is no hunting in that area around the elk center but once you get into the game lands they are fair game. I went to the visitors center about 3 years ago when I was working close to there. I didn't see any elk at the visitors center but plenty of them on the way there.

well I guess the live cam is over. Wish they would leave it up and let us see the bucks rutting. :x :x
