Had to have it as it needed no skinning, trapping or wet shoes. :D

Cool!! Might not be worth as much as a decent chisel tooth plew right now with silver trading around $20 an ounce but in the future....

Did it come with documentation?? I've only bought silver that has come from a national mint. I'm not saying this isn't real but how does one convince others in the future that it's real silver without actually testing it??

PC, we gotta trust someone sometime. No documentation and neither does the mint send out documentation with tubes of Silver Maples or ASE's. I do weigh the rounds/bars when I get them though. As far as convincing people in the future I'll just go with my salesmanship BS.

During these "normal" times, a U.S. company with the brick & mortar location would risk criminal prosecution if they were selling fake silver so I'm sure these guys are legit (although you could always get a silver testing acid kit to try them out). Same goes with currently buying silver coins directly from the federal mints or a well known re-seller such as APMEX. Just saying in non-"normal" times someone would more likely take a US silver Eagle or whatever the Can silver coins are than something stamped with a private company located somewhere.

But people can try faking about anything (as they're already doing with old US coins) so having some silver testing kits would probably be standard operating procedure for many people. Check this vid out with his testing some current fake old US coins...

That beaver is worth way more than the actual pelt!

I know of nothing made than someone hasn't tried to duplicate, PC. I have the test acids and it is fun but just the scratching off of some silver can make a coin/bars numismatic value drop.

No, I wouldn't be testing that "coin" or others that I could show had documentation (a legitimate business in the U.S. or Canada currently is probably enough) in "normal" times. I was thinking of non-normal times when your silver collection might not be just for selling at a profit at a later date. Just something to think about...but then again, tt with your charm, I'm sure they'll all believe you ;--) :P  !

With all the sophisticated technology we have these days, how can they get it down to .999 % silver, but can't get that last little thousandths percent ? like those germicides that kill 99 % of the bacteria but just can't kill that one last tough little SOB. ? never could figure that out. :--? :--?

I don't know if they can clean their molds enough. As for the germs if you have 1,000,000,000,000 and only kill 99% that would leave more than you could shake a stick at.
