Things up here are still winter and beginning to wonder if spring will ever happen. Another snow storm for today and tomorrow. Foot of snow is called for and 50 mile winds later this evening. Click the pic

Hard to believe that April is tomorrow and we have not had a hint of spring yet. Good thing I like cleaning the driveway. Will be a sad day when the snow shovels get put away

Been colder than normal here too Wolf. You definitely win the snow race and that doesn't really make me sad  . We are gonna have a dang dry start to farming here and after spraying for near 20 years I've noticed when I don't have to go around some sloughs the farmers don't need all their bins come fall. It does have to be spring though as the little birds are picking through the scraped off pig hair to line their nests. I sit and watch them and wonder just what they see different in one hair to another as they sure are picky.

Come on now, you filmed that in Lufkin, Texas. That's where the real winters are!!  :P Just kidding. That is just nuts and you can have it. It snowed 3" here last week and I could barely see across the field it was snowing so hard and big flakes, but in 6 hours it was all gone and you would have never guessed it even snowed.

Well the heavy snowfall has stopped and are getting periods of snow. The winds are supposed to pick up and continue to blow snow . All highways from Manitoba border to Thunder Bay are closed as well as to the US border. Looks like the wife is home today as travel anywhere is impossible. Between 16 to 20 inches of new snow. Not sure the bike can plow. Snow blower time if I can get over to my brothers to pick it up. Will post a few pics later when we get day light.

What away to bring in April. Radio is saying most businesses are closed as well as the banks. Credit Union were the wife works has also called and told everyone to stay home. All woodland operations are down as well. Temps will be in the -20s tonight and will warm up to zero tomorrow. Al and Pierre did you get this blast of snow as well and how about you KD?

Much more snow and you'll not be able to see the house from your garage!

We've just had flurries here all day Wolf. Thank goodness. We still have more snow on the ground though than we normally have all winter.

It will be a while before you see a blade of grass...... :--o Our trees are starting to bud and can see a little life with the grass. Farmers are working overtime in the fields. Thunderstorms moving in tomorrow.

Winter seemed like it was endless here as well. We had a few inches of snow last week but today was beautiful! Almost 60 degrees! Beena long time since I felt that.

Good job on the snow plowing Wolf! You have it looking so nice. A few more inches and your yard sign won't be visible.

Wolf, we got rain then sleet, then snow....about 5 inches. We are supposed to get 5 inches tomorrow night and possibly 6-9 for Friday. So much for April Fool's day.
