Hunting season has opened and for me, it has been too long. Ya see, my guiding profession usually takes preference. This year -a ahhh, not going to happen, I told my outfitter. I got the itch to bow hunt. So, I got four days off to hunt an area I have never seen before (hasn't been torched by our fires).

Here's a look at what tempt my patience, opening day. 1st photo is beneath my tree stand. Second looks like a promising postcard.
