The 3 inch's of rain, 70mph winds and the Fn dog chasing a gopher totaled Donny and my new tent  . I knew how much I was missing it but wasn't sure on Donny until yesterday morning at 4am when I went out on the deck to see how the day looked. I looked over to the North and saw this.

I liked his sleeping sock.

Was a nice morning for two hours.

We now have the zipper fixed on last years tent and Don's back inside for a few more nights :D .

Looks like it will take more than a bump in the road to slow Donny down when it comes to the great outdoors.

Classic picture!!! sd- if you can't sleep on a deck without a sleeping pad, it means you're not a teenager anymore. I think teenagers can sleep anywhere...

trappintime- so what are spraying nowadays-- canola, small grains or about everything (do you guys have anything else besides small grains and canola??). Just curious...

PC. We have a very small amount of peas and even smaller amount of corn. Now I'm spraying fungicide on canola and cereals. Also doing some last minute top dressing with nitrogen on cereals. I'm ready to be done for the year.

I'm sure you are after putting in those many long, long days. When do you all usually harvest your cereals??

PC,we normally start harvesting around the 24th of August but this year they'll be lucky to get going by Sept 10th. I'll be killing more crops than usual this fall due to the time restraints so if I can get done with the spring work, I may have a week of summer to go fishing.
