those are all toms. the jakes have really small beards and the tail is not curved all the way around, the middle couple feathers on the tail are longer on jakes

Woke up this morning to 4 inches of snow. The good news,,, I saw these jakes feeding under our bird feeders. I think I'll try some calling today, perhaps in the back yard. lol.

I would say that would be an excellent place to start !!or maybe just open the window :lol: Put more bird feed out say 50lb's. to start with. :shock:
