I am a rock, heavy metal 80's with blues and a bit of Southern rock feel - Guitarist. I take my guitar on road trips & campfires. Should I leave it at home or be a Nugent and express myself to the gods,, Hmmmmm He says, it better. Love to hear from any musician.

Bring it to the campfire. Music is always welcome. :)

ROCK ON, BROTHER !!! Sounds like a great time. I was fortunate enough to see Lynyrd Skynrd in concert while stationed at Ft. Benning, GA. at the Columbus Municipal Auditorium on May 12, 1977 ( before the plane crash). I still have the ticket stub !

Man, now you guys are talking,,, love to see them both. I play a lot of 38 Special, so they'd be up there on my list of concerts to see. I wish more of todays bands would go back to those kinda roots. Until they do,,, I'll just keep strumin to the campfire light~~~

If you can play the geetar than pull er out! I am a huge fan of sitting around the fire and listening to someone play. I've tried picking it up myself but I allways get board and quit. I need to stick with it because I do love listening. I'm going to see Lynyrd Skynyrd and Hank Williams Jr. in June. I am pumped!! I have wanted to see both all my life.

Here's something I don't recommend packing into the woods and playing at a campfire. Not the arsenal I had back in the 80's, but it was enough to tick off the entire block. ADVICE: Don't bring amps of 100+ watts to a trailer park!
