You seem to know a thing or two about dogs. What do you think of Vizsla's? I have read most of the information about them that I can find online. Anything in particular that would make them a good/bad dog to own?

Thanks. :)

Hungarian Vislas are good hunting dogs. But, you have to get them from a breeder that breeds them for that purpose. Too many breeders have created a split in instinct. The ones that are good for show are not necessarilly good for the field and vice versa, so it's important to find a breeder that breeds for hunting.

They are playful, and outgoing. Good with kids as far as I've seen. Reserved with strangers though, so it's important to socialize. Do best in a one dog household, unless you have plenty of early socialization with other dogs.
