I hope you are feeling better real soon Chief.

A few years ago, I had a few ginseng plants growing under the deck but because of the clay in most of the soil these plants died off with the exception of the one in the picture. I got tired of mowing the other weeds growing under there and put down weed barrier and put limestone on top of it but kept the area around the plant bare. Since then, a couple of the seeds that fell off have sprouted and grew. I take seeds from this plant and plant them in the woods close to the house which are growing now also.

Today will be the second day in a row with sun and no rain!

TGIF everyone. :D

Thanks Chief! The big event is this evening and we were already informed by the school that graduation will be held indoors because of the threat of rain today. There are 62 kids in the graduating class this year.

It's hard to believe that it's June 7th and our high temperature for today is only going to be 60 degrees! We are not supposed to crack the 70 degree mark until Saturday.

Have a great day everyone. :D

We had our warmest day of the week yesterday, it made it all the way to 68 and we actually had sunshine for the first time in about 5 or 6 days. It gave me a chance to get the grass cut.

TGIF everyone. :D

We got into the 70's yesterday and actually had sunshine again!

Today is graduation party day. They are calling for a 50% chance of rain and 75 degrees for a high. I knew we couldn't get more than 2 days without rain.....

Have a great day everyone. :D

Other than a light drizzle yesterday morning it was a very nice day. The Hot weather you've been experiencing Chief is making its way here today and all this week. Supposed to be low 80's today and high 80's tomorrow.

Have a great day everybody. :D

Another Steamer early this morning sitting in the low 70's with 90% humidity. I got the grass cut yesterday evening. It wasn't that bad, since it was cloudy, the temperature was in the low 80's but still sweated my nuts off. We are supposed to get some heavy storms moving through today.

Have a great day everyone. :D

We had some heavy storms roll through here about 7:30 yesterday evening and it dropped around an inch and a half of rain. The humidity is ridiculously high.

TGIF everyone. :D
