lets say its prime habitat for them lots of food and cover ....how many bobcats do you think will be say every five miles of this habitat? just sitting here thinking about and i know theres no way to really know

It's been our finding that if a great abundance of food (rabbits) are in an area there can be several cats per square mile. Bobcats have a rep for being very dispersed, which it just isn't true here for Kansas, there is food everywhere for a bobcat. It's not like out west, cats here have a much much smaller home range.
