The API (Animal Protection Institute) "representing" its 248 members who live in Maine, filed their lawsuit in District Court to halt all trapping in Maine.

It was reported this morning, and its already up on their website, along with their 14-page court document.

Their page: (I removed this link. I don't want to give the anti's any extra traffic to their websites. -Keith, Site Administrator)

The newspaper article (including my comment on the bottom as "DH"): http://www.bangordailynews.com/news/t/s ... zoneid=500

Thanks Keith. I'll let the MTA know that we have your support. I do, and I'm sure they will appreciate it.

It'd be interesting if someone filed a lawsuit against the API for preventing humane treatment of animals on the basis of what happens to the poor critters if you let their population grow unchecked.
