thanks guys the catfish are the big ones from just this summer.and most were released back into the water they came from.the bobcat and coyote are from last season and are myfirst snared animals ever.

you know its funny you ask about snaring,when i first decided i was going to snare i though how easy will this be its just a dumb peice of cable right?wrong!its alot harder then it looks and there alot to learn about how to do it right,but the more i do it and read up on it the better i will become(maybe)a snare is just another tool for the trapper it has its place, but i would rather my foot holds any day

i dont think im big on fishin catfish, but i tell you what, when i was fishing Lake Huron, this one guy caught a fish right by our boat, and he was reeling that sucker in for a hour...so we just kept fishing and watchin the guy challenge his fish, when he pulled the fish out of the water, it was a frigging lake sturgeon....on a perch rig, what are the odds of that, when he took it to shore, DNR came and told the guy was out of season and he had to pay a fine, too bad for the guy, but that fish was cool lookin, they got done measuring it and figured it was at about 60 years old. ugly as can be, but cool. wish i had a pic of it.
